This is by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had with any business. Tried to get couples counseling and they kept scheduling us with someone who didn’t do couples counseling, even when I triple checked with the scheduler that our counselor was 100% a couples counselor. Even after that I still tried scheduling one more time and then was told there were no available counselors, fine whatever. Don’t bother trying to go through this business: We tried to get couple’s counseling through the Grandville location, when we went to our appointment they said it was incorrectly scheduled for a 1-on-1 session with a counselor. Then when we rescheduled, we TRIPLE CHECKED that it was for “couples counseling”. He (the scheduler) said yes every time. Taylor is great with my daughter of 10. This is our first time doing it and we both enjoy going and sitting down and talking. I would recommend this place.
Everyone at Joe Martino’s is great. A very welcoming atmosphere and very knowledgeable, helpful and caring therapist for everyone in the family.
I would not recommend this place. A bit of a disappointment & here is why; I was seeking outpatient help in regards to my mental health. I had just gotten out of the hospital due to something most would deem as pretty serious.. I had one first therapy session & was paired with a newbie clinician. I had clearly shared with her that I don’t think working with her will be a good match. I also asked her to help me find someone within the practice that can help me.
