Dr. Buchfuhrer is thorough and patient. She takes the time to listen, recommend/advise and explain.
I look at Dr. Julia Buchfuhrer as my guardian angel... She is most compassionate and truly cares when she asks how you are doing. RA had taken the smile off my face and the sparkle in my eyes. I used to be very outgoing. Dr. Buchfuhrer has prescribed medication that has given me a feeling of normalcy without pain again. For this I will be eternally grateful.
Dr. Buchfuhrer is an excellent physician who always has her patient's best interest in mind. I have referred friends to her in the past and they have always had positive outcomes. She is very thorough in her approach and accepting of alternative treatments. Dr. Buchfuhrer took to the time to listen to me and help diagnose my health problems. With all the testing that I have had, she worked side by side with all of my physicans to find a solution. Excellent communication between patient and doctoring.
Dr. Buchfuhrer is an amazing doctor and very knowledgeable. I met her while hospitalized at Banner University in Tucson. She eased my mind and answered all my questions since I was recently diagnosed with AOSD. Due to the pandemic I’ve had all my follow up appointment via telephone which works great for me since I live in the west Valley ( Surprise area). If I have any questions she usually follows up within a few hours. I understand she will be moving to CA in a year, if I could keep her as my rheumatologist I would!
Very kind doctor. Works hard to keep abreast of the needs of the LGBTQ+ community. I have a very rare condition, and (while still in training), she was very good about communicating with me, the doctor who oversees her, and my referring doctor who coordinates with rheumatology to care for my condition. Obviously this was all pretty complicated, and she handled it well. Besides that, when we talked about my (unrelated) fibromyalgia, she also showed me a good stretch I'd never seen before--and I've seen a lot of stretches. :-)
